Formerly known as By Syahi, we sought to reinterpret our core values and principles and lean into an identity that truly aligned with us and the work we do. Inspired by the beauty of writing and the representation of Nightingale in classic literature, our name is a considered choice to encapsulate our signature design approach that’s emotional, immersive and thoughtful.
So, what does Nightingale represent?
Essentially, a singing bird. However, across different pieces of writing, Nightingale is an embodiment of expression and creativity: foundational values that guide our work and the studio experience.

Hi, I’m Debosmita.
My introduction to shaping brand identities began from a packaging design class during my formal years of education in design where brand and campaign stories captivated me more than the assignment in hand. Since then, through rough sketches on paper, a love for typography and an endless obsession for storytelling, I’ve found myself immerse deeper into the world of brand identities and website designs, creating brands that live and breathe.
Over the years, I’ve sought inspiration from the little moments of life, fascinated with the art of expression that remains at the core of our being. It has led me into rethinking my own brand, conceiving everything Nightingale stands for today: art, storytelling and emotions.
