Brand Identity Design, Collateral Design and Art Direction for

Maya Burke


Maya Burke, a concept jewelry studio, was born out of the idea to create a brand that embodied style and mundaneness together. It translate the belief of using jewelry as a medium of self-expression and is meant to be an effort at empowering the ideology. This visual narrative, with a focus on the little details and a minimalist design language, aims to bridge a gap in the industry and elevate everyday fashion for women.

THE INTENTION

A high-end, minimal brand identity that strikes a balance between simplicity and extravagance to reflect the look and feel of jewelry Maya Burke creates for everyday life.

With a curated art direction and a simplified typography system, we aimed to develop a brand identity that seamlessly reflected the brand’s purpose while continuing to exude luxury and minimalism. Through a clean, simple typography system—comprised of classic serifs and thin sans-serifs—we ensured the identity focused on jewelry pieces of the brand and made a statement on its own. The art direction, enhanced with a touch of AI, was perceived with the use of natural textures to emphasize the mission for all-purpose jewelry.

We crafted a simple but elegant visual identity that flawlessly embraced the brand purpose to craft a concept that could set the foot apart in the industry. Through meaningful visuals and a curated art direction, Maya Burke’s brand identity offers a minimal and understated look and feel that represents the design style of the jewelry pieces.
